This is Hope’s take on 1xWhateveryoufancy. An 11 speed, two piece rear cassette going from 10 teeth to 44 (also 10×40 for both 11 and 10 speed). It is one of Hope’s “long term development projects”, which we will hopefully be seeing in the shops in January.

So you have a smaller 7 speed block (which can be used separately on its own as a DH specific cassette), and a larger 3 or 4 ringed upper cassette (orange finish). Both are made with hardened stainless steel, but if you do want to run this 10 or 11 speed option then you will need to use Hope’s own hubs and buy a specific freehub body… that lot will set you back about £200… and you will need a long cage mech. Best to check with Hope first.
