Weather and news on Friday from the Bromont World Cup in Canada.
After a great hot, sunny day yesterday the rain came again to the Mount Brome race track. Sven Martin was a man in a hurry this morning, he had spotted Sam Hill doing a run first thing this morning and made a dash for the lift to get the shot, breaking his brolley in the process.
Ignore all those arrows beside Sam Hill’s head, the only way he is going is downhill and fast. Hill only managed two runs yesterday, maybe because he has his lines dialled already or maybe because he’s feeling a bit under the weather with the flu. Either way, we’ll know the score at about 14.30pm this afternoon when the top ten have finished qualifying.
Scott Cartwright captures the moment when Shaun Palmer catches a pedal while hauling the off camber rock section on route to the wooden berm.
The 6pm sun light at yesterdays 4x practise was awsome, pitty the final will be run a bit later. Dan Atherton in boost mode.
