Lewis Buchanan is a fast fifteen year old Youth category rider from Innerleithen on the Scottish bordeers who listens to AC/DC and eats whole meal bread.
He also wins lots of races and is currently leading both the SDA and NPS series in his category.

One to definately watch out for in the future.

When was the last time:
You upset your neighbours? Building my pumptrack at my back garden. It’s now a training ground for me.

When was the last time:
You won a race? Llangollen NPS 2 weeks back.

When was the last time:
You hurt yourself? The start of 2008 at Innerleithen winter series. Got a bit confident on the big old hucks off the Bombhole.

When was the last time:
You brought something you didn’t need? I brought spikes to Fort William SDA. I think that would be the wrong choice for that kind of course.

When was the last time:
You heard a good joke? (What was it?)
An elderly couple was attending Mass.
About halfway through, the wife leans over and says to her husband, ‘I just let out a silent fart; what do you think I should do?
He replies, ‘Put a new battery in your hearing aid.’

When was the last time:
You fixed a puncture? I don’t really fix punctures. My dad either does it or it’s a new tube.

When was the last time:
You scared yourself? Doing a real fast run at say 90% at Llangollen NPS. The adrenaline ran crazy and my heart stopped a few times I think.

When was the last time:
You saw something that made you go “Holy Shit!”
At Fort William world cup this year the Monster Balls off steel made be think “Holy shit” but it’s so amazing just watching it. Big respect to them for doing the performance.

When was the last time:
You did some actual digging with a spade? A few mates and me have got a cool track going up at the reservoir hill in Innerleithen. It’s gonna be sick.

When was the last time:
You heard a really good song? The song that the Parkin Bro’s used for a practice day vid at fort William world cup. Shiny toy guns- photograph.

When was the last time:
You broke the law? Haha I’ve never broken the law. I’m a good lad.

When was the last time:
Did a good deed? When I was at Fort William SDA and I asked if a rider was ok and if he wanted any help when he crashed pretty bad. I thought that that was quite a kind thing.

When was the last time:
You puked your guts up? As soon as I saw Josh Benders Karpiel with 2 seats and a head jar pad on his handlebars and super monster T’s it made me nearly puke. It’s the most disgusting thing ever.

When was the last time:
You bust something on your bike? A couple of years ago at Fort William I bust a mech in my race run about 30 sec in and had to just carry speed all the way down. I ended up getting only 4 sec’s off the win so wasn’t bad at all.

When was the last time you:
Felt so good, you thought you could fly? As soon as I hucked out of the Bombhole in 2008 at the winter series I was so high and it seemed to take ages to land and eventually smash in to the tree that I was heading for.
