News is just seeping in from Round 2 of the MSC/Descent-Gear NPS at Llangollen.
We’re still waiting for the official times to come through but news is that Brendan Fairclough and Helen Gaskell took the wins on this steep technical course, which some where comparing to Champery.
In a funny side story, a rare African parrot was found in the woods by course helpers Guy Williams and Tony Trask, the police were called and the owner turned up with a £200 reward for the duo, part of which was donated to the Air Ambulance.
Brendan Fairclough won £200 for fastest time of the day plus £100 for the big whip competion on the last jump, which was judged by Will Weston. If Brendog had found the parrot on his run he would have been minted.
