The Catalan goat farmer whose computer I’m using (Spectrum 48k, remember Attik Attack?) has just rewired it to allow photos. Here are some of those photos.
A few snaps of the downhill track
The layout, now you can see just how far I have to walk from the track to the goat hut.
Some random 4x snaps
The 4x track looks mint flavoured with some huge jumps, but the rain over the past 3 weeks has made some of them a shade soft. A couple of riders spent time over the bars as their front wheels dug in the soft stuff on the last straight doubles (which were later closed off, to dry out).
One set which attracted attention was the big 45 ft-ish quad on the second straight. A few options were open here, double-double, triple to the left, triple to the right or just plain quad the whole lot. Some made it look oh so easy while others made a right meal of it.
Sven Martin set up shop on the push up to the start and papped every one who passed, the shots kind of looked artificial due to the flashage (technical term), here caught in their natural habitat are Clay Porter, John Lawlor and Victor Lucas.
