Floriane Pugin: Im glad to ride for Playbiker – Ironhorse next year! Indeed you cant guess what atmosphere there is in it, there are really friendly, funny and they make you smile all the time but keep serious when its needed. Moreover, we have really nice bikes and components. Well stay together in Italy between races to ride, to train and of course to have fun. Ill discover a new culture, a new language, new regions, new tracks and I think Ill enjoy a lot! European and World Championship are both in Italy next year so I will not be disoriented.
Adam Brayton: Being part of Team Playbiker Ironhorse is a great step forward for me this season, with there support I can really focus on the goals I have set and make a impact in the mens elite this year and after a great off season I am confident of that”.
Team manager Romano Favoino: Me and the road manager Simon Cittati have watched Floriane for the whole season, which ended with her excellent 4th place in the World Cup finals in Maribor: her enormous potential was always very clearly visible. After having her over to Italy for some events later in the season we had no more doubts: Floraine had all the things we look for in our teams riders. Im sure Floriane will only improve and progress, and its already a great pleasure to see one of our riders carrying the rainbow stripes.
Regarding Adam, Brayton, well, we always wanted a British rider in our team. Adams results from last year were impressive, and if they werent enoughwell, just watch his part in Earthed 5, it will leave you speechless. Adam is young, promising, humble and full of talent: a natural choice for team Playbiker Iron Horse.
Sean Heimdal, Monster Energy Iron Horse team manager: It will be great to have 2 more talented riders like Adam and Floriane dropping down hills on their Iron Horse Sunday bikes. Adam is a young talented rider that could have a breakthrough year for himself, and I think well see Floriane on several podiums in 2008. This move also shows that the Playbiker Team is serious and ready to shake things up in 2008!!.
Michel Hegelbach, of Cycle Supply Europe (European distributor of Iron Horse Bicycles): I have a lot of faith in Floriane and Adam, Im happy that these two riders will be able to grow and reach their goals on Iron Horse bikes. Both of them, along with the rest of the team, are going to have a great season!.
Floriane and Adam will ride along the already confirmed Playbiker Iron Horse riders from last year, Lorenzo Suding, Elisa Canepa, Luca Bertocch and Matthias Stonig, while the roster will be completed by new international riders whose names are going to be announced shortly.
