Well after a dry women’s race they have just had hail and now rain. here’s news from trackside:

After a crash in his qualifying run yesterday Marc Beaumont only just qualified meaning that he was almost first man down the hill today, luckily for him he got to ride on a fairly dry track but only minutes after he got to the bottom the heavens have opened with rain and even hail. He’s now been sat in the hot seat for a while with a more than respectable time, and as more and more rain falls, it is looking less and less likely that anyone is going to be able to challenge his time. We’ll just have to wait and see…
