With trail centres seemingly getter rougher all the time Trek’s Remedy has really come into its own. The extra bit of give that you get from the 150mm of travel can make all the difference on some tracks, and yet even the cheaper versions remain light enough to pedal around all day. The quality of the suspension and geometry mean that it’s also not adverse to an uplift or two (although we’re not sure we could bring ourselves to subject this range topper to that kind of use), but whereas the Specialized Enduro excels at that kind of thing, this bike is definitely more biased towards being a trail bike. It’s got to be said, although the price of this particular version is enough to cause a heart attack, it is also stupidly light to say the least.
