Heavy rain and a pea soup mist cloaks Champery in a soggy wet blanket this morning, the kind of blanket that would take all day in the laundrette to dry out (and annoy the laundry owners with all the mud)
Practise is underway but we are waiting for final confirmation that qualifying will go ahead today.
Ben Walker reckons they are going to stick to the schedule and run as planned with qualifying taking place at 14.00pm local time.

(UPDATE:As I type the pea soup fog is lifting and things are getting clearer, uh oh, it’s raining and misty again…ah, now it’s clear again…I think you get the picture!)

The wall ride left hand corner on the lower woods section was carnage this morning with a lot of this sort of thing going on.
If things start to dry up as predicted this afternoon then “Claggy” might be a frequently used word to describe conditions.
Good news about ThunderTruck (the Dirt Norco Race Team wagon that blew up on the way here) Mr Reid is getting the old girl back together and she should be ready to roll soon.
