Nasty! This may not be the biggest injury in the world but considering Aaron Gwin was in hospital getting stitches last night it’s pretty impressive he went and put down the fastest time today.

Yesterday wasn't great but knee is feeling good for qualifying today so I'm stoked! Got my run in an hour, hoping to have a smooth one and keep building for finals tomorrow! ???????????????????? @the_yt_mob

It looks like his front washed out on one of the steep berms, his pad slid down and he ended up ripping his knee open. Cue a quick trip to the Swiss doctors, some needlework and then back on the bike today. That would be enough excuse for a week in front of the tele for us without question!
