Nothin’ Serious. At Home with Aaron Gwin

World Cup Champ' talks guitars, grass fines and Greek

The World Cup Downhill Champion probably spends about an hour of his year enforcing as much backward pressure as he can against the eager Tissot clock. But as much as space and time is Aaron Gwin’s business, it is but one part of his life. He has the gymnasium, the local Starbucks…and…probably one of the best climates in the world to live.

In a recent visit getting material for a forthcoming documentary Gwin talks to Jones about other things in his life. Keeping the garden watered, Greek and singing lessons (not necessarily connected), avoiding house fines, shopping for clothes, haircuts, guitars and cars.

It’s nothing serious, just something away form the races. After all in a matter of weeks Gwin dives into defend his title at Lourdes. It should be fascinating, but then so was this visit.
