Some more team news for the off season as we can confirm Isak Leivsson will not be on the Proapain Dirt Zelvy team next year. All the best to our resident viking and we hope to see him around the pits next year. We’ll let Tom Caldwell take up the story:
Propain Dirt Zelvy Statement
“Isak has been a subdued yet wild character these past few seasons, as we’ve got to know him as the teams resident viking, with his head constantly bathed in dark Scandinavian metal.
Known for his dirty scrubs and wild style, I’m sure Isak will continue to throw a leg off at every given moment. At first Phil gave him the nickname ‘Nac Nac’, which has now turned into ‘redneck’ due to him buying a huge american truck and touring the states racing the ProGRT events.
Ben Reid, team manager, said: “It’s been a great pleasure having this big guy on board for the past few seasons here at Propain Dirt Zelvy. An absolute gentlemen to be around and some good times along the way. It is with regret however that we will not be able to continue our support of Isak in 2017. We wish Isak every success moving forward and look forward to seeing him at the races next year!”
We certainly wish him all the best, he’s been a pleasure to work with on and off the bike. Good luck wherever you’re going and continue to throw the horns up.. yew!”
There’s no word yet on where Isak is headed but word has it he may be privateering in the States. We’ll keep you updated with his 2017 plans as soon as we get them.
