As if this start to the year couldn’t get any worse, news is just in that BMX legend Dave Mirra has been found dead. The Los Angeles Times headline reads “BMX and X Games star Dave Mirra dies at 41 in apparent suicide”. Dirt has strong roots in BMX, we grew up with Dave Mirra. This is such terrible news. Our thoughts are with his family and friends. RIP.
