For years we have seen UK manufacturers (and I’m not just talking bikes) move production overseas in a quest for cheaper prices, so it is great to hear news today of a brand new UK based company that are actually producing everything they make right here in the UK. We think for that reason alone Rideworks deserves some support, but of course custom will only come if they make some great products, and for reasonable prices.
With Rideworks being such a new company we are yet to actually see any of their products in the flesh, but they look very promising indeed. Perhaps their most enticing product at the moment is their narrow/wide chainrings which are selling for £38. That’s less than you’d pay for many equivalents that are made in the Far East. Rideworks are determined to only offer high quality products too, and they appear to have some big plans. They are already working on hubs, stems, and even cranks, and these shouldn’t be too far away from being available to you guys.
Hopefully we shall have some of their products to test out soon, but in the mean time check out their website below and show some love for what is one of only a small handful of 100% UK based companies.
