Over the past few months we’ve been featuring some rad Alpine tracks such as this one and this one, all of which are trying to lay claim to the title of best Alpine track, but somebody just sent the video below over to us as a possible contender. To be honest though we reckon this track looks like hell! Don’t get us wrong, we love a technical challenge, but this thing in Austria looks to be one step too far. There’s no doubt about it, you could quite easily die trying to ride this track.
Johannes Pistrol is the rider who has taken on the Steinerne Rinne from Goinger Halt, and OK he might not be hitting some of the easier bits like some of the World Cup boys would, but to be fair I think all of it is even steeper than it appears, and the latter parts are just steep full stop. One mistake here and you’re a goner. So, big respect to Johannes for taking this track on, but I think you’ll find us on something a little more fun, and less life threatening.
Reckon you’ve ridden a more technical track? If so send the video over to us.
