It may be reaching fever point in Mont Sainte Anne, but that doesn't mean we've not been scouring the net to deliver the 5 best edits of the week. We've got everything from behind the scenes of the World Cup to Ben Deakin sending it in South Africa, so kick back and enjoy the perfect excuse to wind down early on a Friday afternoon.

In Between The Races with Laurie Greenland | SHIMANO

We've not been shy in dishing out praise to Laurie Greenland. Grounded, approachable and fast as hell, at 21 years old he has everything at his disposal to become one of the sports best. Shimano has shone a spotlight on Greenland's journey from Fort William to Leogang. After a strong start to the season in Losinj, Laurie was left disappointed after finishing 16th on home turf in Fort William.

That disappointment, it turns out, would prove to be the catalyst for his strongest season to date, securing podiums at each round since. The video is a fascinating insight into life for a young racer outside the tape and shows just how important the mental game is in modern downhill.

Godzieks meet McCaul | Godziek Brothers EP5

In Episode 5 of the Godziek's ongoing video diary series, Cam McCaul stops by for a session with the boys. As we've come to expect by now from this series, it's banger central and the production is out of this world. Crispy HD, big tricks and Cam McCaul, sorted.

Hillbilly Huckfest Series 2018

The latest stop on the Fest Series was where it all began 5 years ago, Norway, for the Hillbilly Huckfest. Makken and the gang sent it as hard as ever and Hector Cash was on hand to deliver the goods on the video side of things.

Probably one of the most underrated stops in the series, Norway always looks like it's got killer riding.

Reboul Jam! Sundays in Châtel – Episode Four

Returning for its third year, the Châtel Reboul Jam went off over the weekend. Featuring the likes of Thomas Genon, Adolf Silva and Louis Reboul, the event was less a jam and more an unofficial stop on the slopestyle calendar.

There was also slalom, downhill and a long jump competition on the agenda, and it's all been condensed in a 4-minute edit. Banging

Dylan Forbes - Dawn Till Dusk | Mountain Bike 4K

Remember the days of standard definition, 4:3 videos? It's ridiculous just how far video production has come over the past few years. Filmed by One Antler Productions and featuring Dylan Forbes ripping Squamish and Kamloops, this is less a web edit and more a mini-movie.

Flowy, chilled vibes in this one and, if you're that way inclined, this whole thing was filmed on this tiny camera that you can pick up for just over a grand, bonkers.

Melon Optics crew shred Cape Town

Ben Deakin, Adolf Silva and Joel Anderson head to Cape Town to shred. Yeah, it doesn't make much sense to us either, but it's rad. Linking up with South African national champ Theo Erlangsen, the Melon optics crew follows up their trip to Bali last year with an edit that is an equal mix of riding and banter. Oi oi
