Pierron's march continues. As the rain fell in Andorra turning the woods to ice, Pierron emerged fastest by 2.5 seconds. In the women's, Rach left it late to take the top spot but she did it in style, winning by nearly a minute.
It was a day for the French with three of the top four men hailing from just over the boarder. Bruni was Pierron's closest challenger and in fact was ahead until split three when Pierron really pushed home his advantage. Gee was the only man capable of breaking up the French domination and came in third, nearly five back on Pierron.
It was easy business for Rach who will be super confident for qualifying tomorrow. Tahnee was on a cruiser though and we're yet to see her real pace. Monika Hrastnik led the chasing pack that included Farina and Salazar all about a minute back.
Vali Holl and Simon Maurer were the fastest juniors.
