Instabangers: Lenzerheide World Cup day 1

All the action straight from the pros

It’s been roughly a month since the last downhill World Cup and the pros have clearly been as anxious as we have to see it return as they’ve flooded social media with updates today.

Here is the very best action from the pros themselves on the first day of the Lenzerheide World Cup.

Rachel Atherton

Rachel is rocking some orange “World Cup Leader” lowers on her 40s. We doubt they’d look as good on Gwin’s Tues but we wonder if there’s any new tech in there…

Gee Atherton

Gee is also rocking some new Fox kit in the form of an air shock – he usually runs the DHX2 coil.

Dean Lucas

Dean Lucas will be shredding twice as hard for his former team mate Stevie Smith here. Lucas got a best ever third in Lenzerheide last year.

Steve Peat

Claudio Caluori

Claudio Caluori took a knock while on his course preview earlier. he video is due later tonight.

Propain Dirt Zelvy

Phil Atwill will be licking his lips at the dusty corners to blow up here in Lenzerheide.

Katy Curd

Katy Curd will be hoping to sail into the top ten overall this weekend – the jumpy course should suit her.

Neko Mulally

Neko Mulally’s still out with a broken arm, let’s hope we see him back in race action soon.
