Vali Holl and Thibault Daprela have put themselves in pole position for Sunday's race in Val di Sole.
Val di Sole Junior Qualifying results
Thibault Daprela - 3:58.952 2. Giacomo Masiero +0.562 3. Joey Foresta +4.037 4. Lucas Cruz +4.061 5. Patrick Butler +4.117
Vali Holl - 4:48.096 2. Anna Newkirk +14.800 3. Mille Johnset +22.278 4. Paula Zibasa +29.025 5. Samantha Soriano +32.369
Thibault was the second rider down the hill and set a time of 3:58.952. He was one of only two riders under the four minute mark along with second placed Giacomo Maseiro, a local lad who we reckon may have one or two sneaky lines up there. He was up until the last split but faded in sight of the finish to hand Daprela the top spot.
It's going to be a proper battle for the podium tomorrow though as third to sixth are separated by 0.4, all about four seconds back.
In the women's race, Vali Holl but on her customary dominant performance and took the top spot by nearly 15 seconds.
