Richie Rude has won his first EWS race since Whistler 2016 in France this afternoon.

He shared the top step with Cecile Ravanel who put in another dominant display in the women’s race.
Sam Hill could only finish seventh but he maintains a lead at the top of the standings.
Rude couldn’t muster any stage wins today after taking the first three yesterday but he never slipped out of the top five to take the win by five seconds over Dailly.
Dailly was the fastest man of the day and came out fastest in stages 5 and 7. Florian Nicholai won stage 6 and Damien Oton the final stage of the day.
Cecile Ravanel won every stage of the day in the women’s race and would end the race nearly three minutes up on her competition.
Isabeau Courdurier had a stunning day to haul herself up to second ahead of Ines Thoma, Melanie Pugin and Caro Gehrig.
