The first day of the final race of the 2014 Enduro World Series got under way beneath blue skies, hot sun and the Ligurian sea. Jared Graves and Tracy Moseley set off with the series lead but can they hold onto it through this challenging weekend as it still mathematically possible for four men to claim the title whilst Anne Caroline Chausson is close behind Tracy.
With four stages on this first day and no uplifts, it’s all set to be as tough a weekend as the riders have become accustomed to all season. The final stage may descend with a serene view of the sea but the terrain under tyre is far more turbulent.
