The first round is in the bag, as the tape is wrapped up and the timing chips collected the wheels have been set in motion for what stands to be another incredible and exciting year for the Enduro World Series. DirtTV introduced the series on Friday and you can catch all the race action from the first day here.

After yesterday’s┬áblinding stages of racing Jared Graves and Anne-Caroline Chausson were leading 2013 overall winners Jerome Clementz and Tracey Moseley. Florian Nicolai’s form was clear from Day 1 but he pushed things hard on the 2nd day to land 3rd place. An outstanding performance from the young Martin Maes of GT Factory Racing saw him win 3 stages over the two days giving him 4th overall. Justin Leov has also clearly been training hard and he took 5th spot in the final Mens GC.

Anne-Caroline Chausson showed at the end of last season what power she has, her legendary status across a number of disciplines now manifests in Enduro and she took the win from Tracey Moseley by just over a minute and ten seconds. Anneke Beerten has been strong all weekend but was pipped by last Cecile Ravanel for 3rd spot. The Rocky Mountain Urge Team have been solid this weekend and it shows, Isabeau Courdurierlanded 5th accompanying team mate Florian Nicloai placing 3rd in the Mens.
