Vallnord World Cup overall standings

Plenty of moving and shaking after Vallnord

Vallnord delivered a truly special race that’s shaken up the standings. Let’s have a look at who’s lying where after round 4.

Juniors

Finn Iles retains his top spot and extends his lead to 80 points. He can now miss a race and still come out of it the other side in the lead. It’s unlikely he’ll let it slip now though with his home race and the track he won his World Championships on still to go.

Matt Walker still lies second and will no doubt be pushing Iles right down to the line. Kade Edward’s consistent string of podiums have left him holding on to the number three plate.

Kaos Seagrave’s disappointing weekend see him leapfrogged by Sylvain Cougoureux and Joe Breeden to sit sixth.

Women

Myriam Nicole’s win has put her within five points of Tracey Hannah at the top of the standings. It’s going to be a nil biting final three races for the women with the points race wide open and nobody asserting themselves as the dominant force just yet.

Tahnee Seagrave slips to third while Manon and Emilie Siegenthaler hold their positions in fourth and fifth.

Men

Minnaar still reigns supreme in the men’s field. His lead of 80 points may seem healthy but things can change fast in downhill. Gwin also holds steady in second.

The big mover this week was Troy Brosnan. His perfect weekend see him jump from 7th up to 3rd. Loris Vergier is also making some moves as he jumps from fourth to fifth. Jack Moir’s nasty crash sees him slip from third to fifth.
