Every qualifying round, every World Cup race and now the World Championships too, Vali Holl has just completed the perfect season in her first year as a junior woman. She is the first ever Austrian to claim a mountain bike World Championships gold medal.

Vali's latest win came under the Lenzerheide sun as she put 10 seconds into the rest of the sun in Lenzerheide

Her qualifying time was first beaten by Mille Johnset, then Anna Newkirk and Natasia Giminez on a drying track but Vali made the best of the improved conditions and would go faster again as she beat her time from Friday by ten seconds.

With another year of racing the junior women under her belt, it could be another golden year for Holl in 2019. Results below.
