The first year juniors took centre stage in Losinj as Thibaut Daprela and Vali Holl took command in the juniors.

Losinj Junior result

Thibaut Daprela - 2:25.179
Kade Edwards - 2:26.824
Kye A'Hern - 2:28.651
Lucas Cruz - 2:30.789
Mateo Iniguez - 2:32.582

Vali Holl - 2:50.093
Natasia Giminez - 3:02.614
Mille Johnset - 3:06.871
Paula Zibasa - 3:07.415
Anna Newkirk - 3:12.217

Already a Red Bull athlete at 16, Holl put 12 seconds into the field and in doing so became the first ever Austrian woman on top of a World Cup downhill podium. Her time would have also been good enough to qualify fourth in elites yesterday. Second place went to Giminez with Mille Johnset in third.

In the men, Kade Edward's slim advantage from qualis was totally overhauled as Thibaut Daprela smashed a 2:25.179 to finish first by 1.5. We can definitely see a great battle developing between these two as the season progresses. Third went to another man racing his first World Cup, Canyon's Kye A'Hern.
