The rain that was threatening to wash out Cairns yesterday has totally vanished and we’re basking in glorious sunshine once again.
The course was running fast and riders were banging out times 10 seconds quicker than timed training (although maybe that’s just down to them actually pedalling at the bottom). The qualifications were won by Troy Brosnan for the men, Rachel Atherton for the women and Matt Walker for the juniors. Check out all the action here.
