Mountain Biking Magazine

With temperatures down to freezing and a cold wind blowing it’s not a good time for the heating system to go tits up. Well it has , I don’t want to sound dramatic, it’s not like we are traversing the icy tundra of a polar extremity dragging 100 kilo sleds behind us while being attacked by polar bears in -50 degree temperatures. No, it’s worse than that. We’ve run out of gas and the ‘Glen’ fan heater has packed in and there is barley enough tea to go round. Shackleton eat your heart out. The only option is to wrap up warm in hats, scarves and gloves and wait for help.

The Super Ser, giving out as much heat as a frozen penguin

The ‘Glen’ fan heater, giving out even less heat than a frozen penguin, I’d say about as much as a frozen pea in an icecube.

The only way forward is to wrap up like brave little soldiers and not to moan too much.
