If you’re a budding DH racer or even if you aren’t, you should seriously consider getting yourself entered into the Diverse Downhill Contest race, which takes place 26-27 April 2014 (same date as UCI World Cup #2) in Wisła, Poland. Organised by a passionate crew, this race has offered UCI points since 2011, but for 2014 it’s Category 1, which means loads of points up for grabs if you’re keen to get into the World Cup! The track looks great too, so even if you aren’t bothered about the points you’ll be in for a good time.

Legendary central european downhill season opening will take place in Wisła, Poland. The 9th edition of greatest polish gravity race held on 26-27th of April 2014 will be bigger and better than ever before!
Wisła offers a quick lift and a choice of steep and fast tracks. This place hosted Polish National Downhill Cup and Championships several times, which proves the quality of the track. The race track is varied and fast. It contains some natural technical sections, rock garden, lots of roots and few interesting jumps. Several years of shaping and improving the course has finally resulted with a prestige UCI C2 class for the first time in 2011. Over 360 riders from 13 countries become a part of the competition back than. 2014 is the first year in the history of Polish downhill when the contest received a UCI C1 class.
In the meantime DIVERSE Downhill Contest in Wisła hosted big names like Filip Polc, Neil Donoghue or Sławek Lukasik – winner of 2013 IXS European Downhill Cup in Pila.
