BMC’s Francois Bailly-Maitre took the win on the final day of racing between Sosport and Menton, pipping Jerome Clementz by 20 seconds on a 27-minute day. He held 1st (or joint 1st) for three stages, but dropped to 5th on the final stage. Either way, a good win over probably the best known man in Enduro right now. Ines Thoma took the win in women’s, just beating Anka Martin to it. Here are the results:

Final results and round-up
Six days down then, the 2014 Trans Provence has come to an end. It all came up well for Francois Bailly-Maitre, who beat Jerome Clementz by 45 seconds and took the overall. In the women’s, it was also Ines Thoma again – so day 6 gave a good run of the overalls for consistency.
