The London Bike Show may not be a hotbed for new products but it’s one of britain’s biggest cycling events, so brands still roll up in force.
With choking smog, driverless trains and the expectation you’ll pay eight quid for lunch, it’s not the usual bike industry event. Here’s the highlights we found while patrolling the halls and eating our weight in free food samples at the Excel exhibition centre.
Stanton weren’t going to let Trillion have all the hardtail glory at the show and they showed off this tweaked Switchblade that is designed to fit tyres of up to 2.6 inches – trendy!
Also new on this bike were Stanton’s 810mm bars and new saddle. Finally take a look at the Boost conversion dropouts. It means you can fit wider hubs without a whole new frame, great idea!
