Lego: Sam Hill and Brendan Fairclough Update!

Sam Hill and Brendan Fairclough could become immortalised in Lego if there is enough support from you lot!

Back in 2009 designer and mountainbike fan James Dick mocked up some ace representations of Brendan Fairclough and Sam Hill as Lego models. I think there was a bit of a copy right issue and all went quiet. But now they’re back and if there is enough interest Brendog and Hilltop will be cloned into little plastic figures and sit alongside Luke Sky Walker and Darth Vader in the shops.

“Remember the Sam Hill Lego? Well, Lego have a new website where they allow the public to submit ideas to be made into real Lego kits. Some guy who liked my original Sam Hill images emailed me the other day to tell me that he submitted my images to the site, and to see if this was ok.

Now in order for Lego to consider making one of these ideas into real Lego, then the project needs to receive 10,000 supporters, to go to the site and click ‘Support’ (unfortunately Facebook ‘likes’ dont’ count). This is where I was hoping you might be able to come in, to help get it up to 10,000.

I have also created some new models based around a Rob Warner mini figure kit, including two figures of him, one from the 90s (around the time he appeared on ‘You Bet!’), and a present day one with him in Freecaster/DH1 t-shirt etc.”
