LAPIERRE ANNOUNCES DISTRIBUTION AGREEMENT IN UK

Lapierre is pleased to announce that they have signed a distribution agreement in the UK with

Hotlines Europe Ltd. Distribution will begin with the 2008 collection that will be launched at

the end of August at the Eurobike show in Germany. The agreement marks the addition of an

important market to Lapierre’s export portfolio, which has been rapidly growing in the past few

years.

Lapierre was founded in 1946 by Gaston Lapierre in Dijon, France, where production and

R&D headquarters are still located today. Driven by passion and innovation, Lapierre is

committed to creating original performance products for the most demanding of riders.

Lapierre has a complete line of mountain and road bikes that use our latest technologies such

as T3 Carbon and the FPS2 (Full Power Suspension) and OST (Optimized Suspension

Technology) rear suspension systems. All bikes are assembled in France using strict quality

control methods and intensive in-factory testing. A member of Accell Group since 1993,

Lapierre is currently distributed in Europe, Asia and North America.

Hotlines has been one of the leading suppliers of mountain bike brands in the UK for the past

15 years, using this time to develop an enviable reputation for service and back up. Hotlines

continues to offer the best possible brands, backed up by superlative service and a refusal to

compromise on quality.

“We welcome Lapierre into our stable of brands and we are 100% confident that the sheer

quality and the advanced technical aspects of Lapierre products will be a great benefit to any

independent bike dealer in the United Kingdom." Illy Anastasi, General Manager, Hotlines

Europe Ltd.
