The sun is still a shining and the mozzies seemed to have buggered off. The track is running really fast, quite a few folk have binned it at some stage including Dirt rider Ralph "wreckin ball" Jones during his helmet cam run (I'm trying to upload the footage but the inter beam signal is cutting out more than Baby Blue on a bad day). The frozen peas have come out to treat a few injuries, amongst those spotted with a bag of bird eyes finest were, Stevie Smith, Josh Bryceland and Baltic Ben Reid. Marc Beaumont says his ribs are a lot better after Andorra, and Brendog's shoulder is all strapped up.

The restaurant at the top of the gondola is called the Snow Goose. It's named after this patch of snow above it which some say resembles a "snow goose".
