The European 4X series included top 4X and BMX riders from throughout Europe including top riders Britain’s Scott Beaumont, German rider Johannes Fischbach & Czech personality Tomas Slavik

During the racing Lukas won his semi final against Johannes Fischbach, Joost Wichman and Petr Muhlhans. Speaking about the race Lukas said "Because it was such a hard semi, the problem was I was already so tired and my legs were on fire. I didn't have a bad gate in Main took the second place and was straight behind Fischbach. Into the second corner Slavik wanted to pass me from outside but he wasn’t fast enough and almost took me down with him. He crashed and I lost my speed so Tschugg got before me and I didn’t have a chance to try catch him. So I went slowly to the finish and finished 3rd place"
