DirtTV: Champery Qualifying

Waking up to low cloud and rain this morning the riders knew they were in for a hard day of trying to stay upright and fighting the steep, rutted course here in Champery. There was talk of qualifying being cancelled if the helicopters couldn’t land because of the mist but everything went as planned for a round of the World Cup: racing in the rain! And just when we thought we’d survived the worst, more torrential rain right before, and during, qualifying meant for poor visibility and a slippery track. The usual World Cup contenders are up there with some stand out riding from Myriam Nicole, Damien Spagnolo and Dirt TV favourite Wyn ‘Wyn TV’ Masters.
Today’s edition of Dirt TV was a mission to film amid over the bars crashes on the walking path by the side of the track and steamed up cameras, so we hope you fully appreciate the dedication and effort that went into making it.
