Adam Brayton will be joining Dirt#84 cover star Ben Reid this year for the World Cup season. So maybe the team name will have to change to “Not Just Reid But Brayton Too”?
Will they be on Ironhorse again this year? We’ll have to wait and see for the official word.
Here’s the full factoids:
Just Reid Racing will be taking a big step forward in 2009. Its going to be a tough season, both on and off the race track for a lot of teams but we aim to make 2009 a big success!
We are stoked to announce that riding along side Ben this season will be UK ripper “Adam Brayton”.
Adam has so much potential and has already reached the spotlight at many events this year and last as well as grabbing the media’s attention with his moto riding style and ‘go bigger’ attitude.
Adam- “Joining Just Reid for the 09 season is a great step forward for me; I know working with Ben is really going to improve both our riding. I’ve worked really hard this winter so I’m looking forward to the season ahead. Just Reid is a tight set up which suits me a lot, the team uses all the best products on the market and I can’t wait to get out on the new bike. Roll on April!”
Ben- “I first met Adam last year out in Italy and got to know him pretty well, we are the same height so I can look em’ in the eye! Riding with Adam in practice is fun and helps keep me motivated, as we are both small riders we would have the same approach on a lot of sections, like to send it is usually the better option for both of us as we ain’t got it in the legs to hold er’ down. I have been training hard this winter and am looking forward to an enjoyable season with Adam on board.”
The Dynamic Duo of Brayton and Reid will be attending the full world cup series as well as popping up at various other events throughout the calendar.
The team has some great backing from sponsors this year and we look forward to releasing a full list of sponsors in the next couple of weeks.
Keep checking the new site justreid for regular updates in the run up to the beginning of the season.
