The Fox Downpour shorts are made using the same durable 3 layer Trumotion 4-way stretch fabric as the Downpour Pro jacket, providing proven all-weather, trail specific performance, with long-term reliability – important, as the fabric is sitting between you and a muddy saddle or the seat in the uplift bus.
These are very well cut yet cleanly styled shorts – after all you don’t want any excess fabric flapping around getting covered in mud and water and holding you back. Cut with a 13” inseam they sit well with most kneepads but aren’t overly long, maybe a touch shorter than your usual shorts. The breathable Trumotion fabric works well at controlling the temperature and the 4–way stretch works with you when pedalling.
Welded construction with sealed seams keeps the bulk and weight low, with silicone grip patches on the inner waistband helping the shorts stay in position. A side pocket on each hip gives off-the-bike storage and the zips are water-resistant.
Waterproof shorts are an often over-looked piece of kit, but they can be a game-changer.
