Things don’t always go to plan

But it could have been worse. My first ride in 334 days went to pot. Instead of waking up to my alarm at 6a.m. and jumping on my bike, I woke up to my 2 year old at 1:10a.m., 1:45a.m., 2:30a.m., 4:13a.m. and 5a.m. So when the alarm went at 6a.m. I turned it off real fast, put the pillow on my head and tried to get some more sleep. When I finally did come round to the real world, real world things like phone calls, emails needing to be answered and shoots to be organized kept me from the pedals. So there you have it. If you need your beauty sleep, don’t have kids. Put your balls to better use like breaking your fall onto a top tube. I’m gonna try for the ride again tomorrow…that’ll be 336 days and counting…
