Not sure exactly what happened in Cave Hill Country Park, Belfast but the premise seems to be that Gee is “The Fox” and chases down the “Horses” or are they “Chickens”, “Chickens With Wheels”, “Chickens With Wheels and Pedals And Gears And Springs Too!”. Anyway it all passed off without the aid of a bugle, glass of sherry or a bloody carcass, which is a novel spin on the traditional controversial blood sport.

Greg Callaghan escaped the clutches of the feral Atherton to claim first spot while Glyn O’Brien came in third.
