17 bikes of the Howard Street Dual
So what bike do you run for a type of race that's never been run before? The Howard Street Dual was (probably) the first urban dual slalom race in the world leaving riders scratching their heads about what bike would be best.
In the end it was more of a run-what-you-brung type affair with everything from dirt jump hardtails to enduro bikes on track. In the end it didn't seem to matter with a hardtail and a full suss both making the final in the men's race.
We caught up with a few of the riders to see what they were running. Take a look below:
We didn't get a photo of the winning bike (whoops) but here it is in all it's glory. A special slalom edition of the Airdrop Edit from the Sheffield company.
