Whilst it may have had its foibles we’ve loved the Zesty ever since its inception. The combination of great geometry and beautiful attention to detail were always going to help it on its way to be a winner, but with a tweaking of the 140mm of travel the bike is now an even better all–round trail bike than it was before.

In the past getting the shock to work right normally involved having to set it up fairly hard, but now you’re able to run it softer and as a consequence the bike is far more sensitive and offers greater grip. With a redesigned full carbon frame it’s also lighter than ever before, making this bike just as quick up as it is along and down.

For those of you that don’t know, that’s very quick. Of course it wouldn’t be a Lapierre without a high level of finish and attention to detail, and so that’s exactly what you’ll find here. Its neatness is perhaps only matched by its speed.
