When carbon bars first came out it’s fair to say that there were more than a few doubters, just like frames I suppose, but if there’s one company that has managed to prove over the years that their carbon bars are as strong, if not stronger than anything else out there, it’s Easton. Anyway, these latest Havoc DH bars are the ones we’ve been waiting for. The shape is as spot on as ever, but now we get a full 750mm width, and all for a miserly 235g weight. That is a big chunk of weight to save when compared to aluminium DH bars, and with Easton claiming these are their strongest bars ever, we wouldn’t be surprised if these are stronger than most too. The best of both worlds, but you do pay for it.
