At the other end of the scale from the Society Forks come these new Fox 831 forks for 2010. By no means a budget fork, but then Fox don’t do things by halves, if you are serious about your racing, 4X, duel or slalom, then these are the forks to put top of your wish list. Tested and developed throughout the 2009 race season by Dan Atherton, Jared Graves and Kyle Straight amongst others, Fox have produced a lightweight and stiff chassis with a much firmer damper to hold the fork up in the turns and deal with the landings. The Fox 831 forks take the slimmer 15mm axle and conversion kits are available for most hubs. For any aspiring trails and 4X riders or racers these are the ultimate bling to have on the front end of your bike.
