Truvativ Descendant

A complete revamp of Sram's gravity hardware

Sram’s Truvativ division has always been a reliable choice when it comes to components for harder hitting riding with their Holzfeller, Hussefelt and Descendent ranges more often than not hitting the spot. Sound choices that go the distance.

With Sram’s pedigree in the world of ‘1x’ transmissions (and Sram XO DH being a favourite of ours) this new Descendant range takes this expertise and dishes up some fine choices for cranks on your longer travel enduro or DH bike. A revamp of bars, stem and DH seatpost round out the package. This is technically an early showing of 2017 kit and will be available in June.

Here’s what Sram have to say, followed by the details from their press release:

Guided by input from some of the most talented riders in Enduro and Gravity, each component in the Descendant line up has been built to survive mountain biking’s most aggressive riders and thrive on the world’s rowdiest trails. With Sram’s experience in producing ‘1x’ transmissions for many years it was only so long before they applied their thinking to a serious proposition for the harder charging gravity rider. Truvativ have also rounded out the package with a full makeover of their components, with a bang up to date range of bars, stem and DH seatpost’
