If you thought riding with SPD’s was dangerous then you obviously never rode with toe clips. These were the poor mans SPD’s and in the early days you were pretty much told that it was one or the other. Ok, so they weren’t originally designed for mountain bikes (like so many other things they came from the road world), but some bright spark thought they made sense off-road, yet they clearly didn’t. Does it deserve to be selected into the worst mountain bike products? You decide.
