We don’t normally get too excited about chainrings, but these ones are pretty special. Each one is made in the UK in exactly the same way as Renthal’s motorbike sprockets; same 7075 T6 aluminium, same hard anodising to increase lifespan, same machines, and the same craftsmanship. They’re also incredibly light, at just 50g for a 36t ring. That may be a few grams more than the insanely light ones from e.thirteen, but somehow these feel a lot more than a few grams meatier. The only other things you need to know are, that the BMX version features 4–bolt mounting holes for a bash ring, and that by the time you read this both versions should be in the shops.
