2014 Leogang World Cup Qualifying results

After a huge storm over night it has left the track wet and stic
Bathed in sunshine, Leogang has been wet then dry for a few days, the rain makes for some interesting riding should it fall tomorrow.

Qualifying is done in Leogang and the Brits have posted a few decent times with three of the Elite men in the top ten. Josh Bryceland took the best UK spot in 3rd with Gee in 8th and Danny Hart in 10th.

Last week’s winner in Fort William Troy Brosnan is back in 6th whilst team mate Aaron Gwin in second behind the young Frenchman Loic Bruni who took the maximum points today.

In the Women’s race Manon Carpenter nailed a solid run after the puncture disappointment shared with Rach Atherton and Tahnée Seagrave in Fort William. Carpenter was 4.815s clear of Ragot in second with Rachel Atherton taking third spot. Tahnée took 5th here and with Fionn Griffiths in tenth the ladies added one more Brit to the top ten then the men.

Junior Men landed some great results for the British riders too, Taylor Vernon is back on pace coming in 7th just ahead of Dan Farley in 8th and Neil Stewart in 10th. Dirt Orange team rider Jacob Dickson took 13th spot and will be stoked for the race tomorrow after that time.
