With help from dirt jumper Timo Pritzel, Schwalbe have come up with this peach of a dirt jump tyre.

The first thing you notice about them is the weight, or lack of it. At just 590g this folding version isn’t exactly going to weigh you down. So yeah, they’re bloody light, but what about the rest of them? Well, Schwalbe seem to have pulled off the dream combination when it comes to the tread pattern.

First of all it is blindingly fast rolling, but even more impressive than that quality is its ability to grip like a leach without ripping the trails to shreds. Just be warned though, several riders who have switched to these from heavier and slower tyres have found themselves going way higher and further than they’re used to. Get used to them though and there’s no going back.

  1. The real slim fordy

Might seem like an odd question but would they be alright for tubeless use. In summer I use my hard tail up the bmx track alot and a fast rolling grippy tyre like this would be spot on
