Peaty’s Lid

peatys lidTo get your hands on Peaty’s Custom Troy Lee lid from DH World Champs in Pietermaritzburg, South Africa get on Ebay, bid and help raise money for Ride for Michael. We all know that Peaty doesn’t part with his lids, so this is a pretty special auction.

Dig deep if you can and help raise money for a fantastic charity, something that I’m sure hits close to home for many of us as riders. It means a lot to athletes within the sport which is why they have given so generously to help the cause. In the words of Michael Bonney:

“I don’t want anybody to stop riding bikes because they think they might injure themselves. I want people to get out there and ride bikes. I’ve spent all of my working life getting people excited about bikes and even though spinal injuries happen to cyclists, and especially to mountain bikers, it’s very rare. I was unlucky, shit happens. Get out there and ride, for me.”

The money raised will hopefully help Michael get back to his home in Penrith so he can spend Christmas with his family.
