Future junior World Champion right here folks.

Manon Carpenter to ride Lapierre.

Teenage DH prodigy, Manon Carpenter will ride a Lapierre DH 920 for the 2010 season, supplied by Hotlines Europe Ltd on a supported rider program. Hotlines will also be supplying Manon with Nuke Proof wheels and X-Tools maintenance products.

Manon is fast becoming one of the best female DH riders in the UK, having had a stellar 2009 Youth season in which she very often posted faster runs than most of the women’s senior categories, including the Elites!

Manon taking delivery of her new race bike from Hotlines Marketing Manager, Andy Gowan.

“Manon is just the kind of rider we want to represent our products – bright, friendly and very well known – always happy to speak to people. It’s something that a lot of riders looking for sponsorship don’t appreciate – being fast isn’t everything. But Manon has the whole package, and we’re really looking forward to working with her this season” Andy Gowan, Marketing Manager – Hotlines.

Manon will be racing a full program of UK DH races along with some 4X and European DH events, with a season goal of Junior World Champion.

“I’m so happy to be riding a Lapierre, I never expected to have such a nice bike for this year. I’ve been out riding in Portugal recently and the bike feels great – it corners well, is really responsive and I haven’t felt more confident on a DH bike. Now I can’t wait for the season to start so I can race it!” Manon Carpenter.

“I was hoping we’d get a bike deal for 2010, but getting a bike like the Lapierre 920 was bonus. I’ve always believed good riders will shine on any bike but getting a true Race Bike with such design, detail and quality is fantastic.  Thanks Hotlines, with the bike, the Nukeproof wheels and X-tools we can get on with the task in hand now.”  Jason Carpenter – Coach, Mechanic and Dad.

Lapierre, Nuke Proof and X Tools are available in the UK through Hotlines Europe Ltd. For stockist enquiries, please contact Hotlines on 0131 319 1444, or email to sales@hotlines-uk.com.
